smally hunter -> wilhelm crappies?? (4/29/2008 7:17:28 PM) anyone been out there and actually caught any?? my dad was out last friday and only got a whole lot of junk baby blugills and a bunch of shiners the dog woods are blooming isnt that when they are supposed to be hitting???

Between the two of us.....nothing.  There were a bunch of guys piled up in boats and on the shore at the one corner of the causeway by the boat lunch.  Must have been catching something, but we wanted to avoid all of the congestion, so we didn't go over.  Haven't been down since.  Would like to know myself if they've been catching anything recently.

(4/30/2008 9:46:00 AM) Sherry and I fished around launch 3 a couple weeks ago.I caught 2 small crappies and some gills.Guys in a boat caught a few keepers.The Goldenrods(shiners) were a pain though.I hate them things.I catch them in Kahle & 2 Mile also.Do you catch them in Shenango,Pymy also?

(5/9/2008 4:05:51 PM) Going to fish wilhelm this weekend walleyes sat evening and crappies sunday morn usally best results for crappie have been after dogwoods bloom which happened this week in my neck of the woods I will try traditonal wilhelm spots for the crappies and update during the week good luck to all
