ORIGINAL: JEB I'm glad you don't care about them, its less pressure on a highly pressured fish. The caps were just to prove a point as to why people get worked up about them, becuase there a not that many. I personally would want to catch a Tiger trout rather than a palimino, I think there are less of them and this is the last year the state will stock any. You posted a question asking why people get all worked up over these fish and then you get defensive, You asked the question, not me. I've caught over 15,000 trout since the mid 80's and have only ever caught one golden rainbow . I spend a lot of time on the water and they are hard to catch, thats why people like them, plus the state usually only stocks them @ 17+ ", so they are bigger. I'm not condoning you for your trout preference, I love them all, but if people want to spend hours trying to catch one, you should be happy, the time that they are wasting on one fish allows you more time to catch more of your non cartoon fish. I'm not complaining, I was just asking a question. When people use bold type, exclamation points and all caps on message boards, it typically denotes yelling. Why wouldn't I get defensive when someone responds to the question with what is commonly understood to be yelling about a simple question?
