The trip was pretty good. I got to fish just about every day I was there. I fished the Davidson River, and a few other creeks I was told to forget the name of by some friends who threatened bodily harm if I got loose lipped about them. Other than the fishing, Asheville NC was the typical laid back town it has been every other year i've been there.

Cant wait to see the flys!

I hate to admit this, but I believe I may have thrown away the flies you sent, by mistake. The same day I recieved your flies, I also recieved some small packages containing a few items I ordered from ebay. When I threw away the shipping envelopes from the ebay stuff, I must have threw away your flies and envelope away with them. When I went to sort all the flies to send them, I couldn't find yours, and the only explanation I can think of is what I just wrote

If you could post link to the recipe for the flies, I'll tie them tonight, and get them all out tomorrow. I remember looking at your flies when I recieved them, and I remember thinking to myself that I have the materials to tie them.

Sorry about this mess, but I have a new Orvis fly box that i'll be sending your flies to you in, to make up for me being so dumb.

Don't worry about loosing the flies.  Stuff happens.  I suggest that you send the flies you have out to the guys and just skip me.  Actually, with my schedule this summer, I really won't have much time to doing any trout fishing anyway, so they would sit around in my box. 

If you would want to recreate a few to use, I could send you the recipe, but unfortunately I cannot remember the site I where I saw the pattern.  I pretty much was going on memory.  I am currently away from my tying bench, so I don't have all the details, but if you would like, I can send them later.

Again, don't worry about the flies.
