I know last year there was a thread about them.  Just wondering if anybody has any info on them.  I take my son to a couple every year.  It is good for the kids.

FISHING DERBY: May 3rd :   Sponsored by the Beaver County Sportsmen's Conservation League.  The annual Children's Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday May 3rd at Hopewell Community Park.  This FREE event is for children under the age of 16.  Prizes are awarded based on the most fish caught, biggest fish caught and the most trout caught.  Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.  Bait will be sold at the site as well as an open concession stand.  Registration begins at 8:00am and fishing begins at 9:00am.

north park lake may 17th from 7am to noon. register at the rochester grove near the boathouse. lots of prizes given away. rods and tackle available

Thanks for posting back.  I am going to take the boy next saturday for sure.  Do they sell buttons of have raffles there or donations?  Just wondering.

Ambridge Sportsmens club Youth Fishing Derby, will be on May 10th from 8 am to 2pm, the age  limit is 18 and under.  John
