Might have to spend a little time chunking a buzzbait for bass...  was mainly going to focus on pan fish.

Last friday my Buddy did pretty good on a chatter bait. i did pretty good on a berkley gulp 4" minow shad with a med wieght jig head. Ripping it pretty good as soon as it hit the water and back to the boat. good luck. i might see ya out there im thinking about going out Sunday.

water temp is relative.  i caught my first 5 lb bass this year in 47 degree water three weeks ago on my lake in wv.  it was only 56 last trip and that yielded a 4 and a 5 lb fish.  some of the biggest bass can be caught super early in spawning areas.  there may not be many, but chances are most will be nice fish early on.  the last 5 came on a steelhead jig and a noodle rod meant for crappie.  id be doing the same thing on cross creek if i fished there.  would have started for bass first week of april to get a head start on those big mommas.
