Great caddis action going on the last few days for those interested. Did much better tonight than I did yesterday, emergers. Water really gets boiling around 7:40'ish.

I fished saturday and got 4 to come up to a dry fly and hooked one. They did not want to hit anything saturday it was tough fishing. Went to shenango below the dam yesterday and landed 3 rainbows. Biggest was a 16 incher that fought identical to a catfish.

I fished it Saturday, too, and it was tough. Sunday was better. Would like to fish Shenango again but it's running too high and fast for my liking.

They should be dropping the gates soon it was only 1 foot above summer pool today. I agree that it has been to high to be comfortable wading it was really tough yesterday even a little scary at times but I just couldnt stand the fact that there was fish to be caught and I was in the house not fishing.

If I know what you look like, I may have been fishing right next to you on Saturday, I got there a little later (around 4:30). I had a couple on emergers that evening, that's about it, though.

I fished beyond the bridge briefly after I fished behind the shop. Black Slayer shirt, orange Simms hat, Guide Series pack...that was me.
I may head down after work on Thursday, best action doesn't start until around 7 anyway.
