No need to wade. In fact on these streams wading is futile. Fish are spooky and it stirs up too much silt. Plus you may find yourself up to your neck in it too. I made that mistake a few times & luckily am still here to tell about it.[sm=happy.gif]

Native brook trout are pretty fish, but truely wild rainbows from small creeks like that certainly have their own beauty. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Be hard for a trout to starve! That's lots of food! Did you see any trout coming up and actively taking the cadis off the concrete pilings? I have seen sunfish do that, but never trout...

I didnt see any take them off the concrete pilings, but after it got windy, the trout were eating ones blown onto the water.

Nice fish Salmo!

Shawn, i'm going to have to say "maybe" about saturday. I plan on chasing the turkeys around in the morning, taking a nap in the afternoon, and then i'm supposed to go to indiana to visit my girlfriends parents. If I can get out of visiting her parents, i'll skip the nap and fish the rest of the day after hunting.

Can you guys make it out on Sunday?

Can't make it today -- something important with my Dad I need to do.

Perhaps an evening next week if this rain doesn't blow the river out and the bugs hang on.
