What the hell happened to shells?  I bought a box of heavi shot (10 rounds) for my 10 gauge 2 or 3 years ago for about $22.  Went to Gander mountain today......$39.95 for 5 rounds.....WTF?!?!??!?!?

It was 39.95 for 10 shells and 19 for 5 shells, either way it is expensive as hell.  I was thinking about buying some last week but didn't in case they didn't pattern well.  I spent the money for the pure gold turkey choke though and was somewhat pleased with the results.

Bought 3.5 inch winchester supremes at wal- mart last week for 11 bucks and change.  Last year they were 9 and change.  Have thought of spending the near 40 bucks for the winchester elites or extended range or what ever they are called, but the ones I bought have done well for me in years past.  Have gotten good patterns out of them (#4 shot) and figure why change.  Good luck to all and especially the youths who are getting their chance tomorrow.

It could cost a fortune just to figure out what your gun shoots the best.
