ZoomZoom -> Brady's Bend (East Brady, PA) (4/16/2008 12:52:37 PM)

I have never been to the last pool on the Allegheny, but deciding between this pool and Arthur for this weekend.  Water temps should be getting close to 50s and the bass should be getting active soon.  Will water temps typicaly hit 50s in the river before lake Arthur?

Also, is there a boat ramp with a loading dock at Brady's Bend?

Thanks!

Arthur was 53 on Sat and the Mon has been in the 50's for weeks now..Think it hit close to 60 2 weekends ago...I think the Mon may warm quicker than the Allegheny though....

Don't know about water temp, but there is a boat launch at Brady's Bend.  It is down to the left off of RT 68, just before you cross the bridge into East Brady.

Yup - Quantum is right...

Fished East Brady pool Saturday with little success. River temp was 53 degrees and only caught 1 smallmouth between the 3 of us launching everything in our arsenal.  Not much on the fish finder...I did consistently get hits on the finder north of the launch near that shack that is going under real estate auction and south of the ramp on the west side just before the gas line crossing.  We had one large smallmouth follow our lures in a few times, but no catch.  In any case I did catch a hell of a sunburn.

I was out Saturday at Brady's bend also.  Found water temps moving to the mid to upper 50's later in the day.  Also caught some rays.
