BillyLittler -> Pymatuning - Wading in the Bays (4/16/2008 12:08:57 PM)

I'm headed up with my dad early Friday.  My dad has been wading this lake back in the day when all the roads were mud.  I've been wading with him for 25 years or so.  Lake sure has changed through the years and our holes that produced for years just aren't doing it anymore.

Hoping Friday doesn't have a big crowd, we were going to try and wade Stewarts Bay for the first time for crappie.  I think we are also going to try and wade a little North of Wilson's Bay as well as by the beach area in Linesville.  We tried fishing Wilson's Bay in the past, but we haven't had much luck.  It looks like a good hole, still hoping we just haven't hit it at the right time.

Any other tips or suggestions, I'd appreciate it.  Wading for walleyes all those years made us a little stupid with other fish.

Shouldn't be too big of a crowd.  Haven't seen many people out there wading on my way past. Quite a few boats some days though. I waded Stewart's once so far, but the water was still pretty high.  Would think that the crappies should be moving in. Been catching about 15-20 fish a night in the spot i normally go to, but as stated in other posts, there has been alot of small ones.  Got a few decent ones last night though.  Water looks like its clearing up a bit also. Good luck!
