Don't know about the fishing but the lakes at a good level.  The creek hasn't given up a fish yet this year to me but I hit it for an hour every evening and sooner or later it will happen...

Word from reliable source is the crappie are biting.  I would guess it will be crowded this weekend.  Good luck

the bite has been slow for me. i've been fishing it in the mornings only catching no more than 3 fish a day..off the bottom. think the water is too cold still can't wait till they pick up. avidangler, when did the spillway get so rocky and shallow?  went down there yesterday to check it out to find snags and rocks everywhere.  very disapointing, many good times with my dad down there bangin craps

Its filled in over the past 5 years or so.  With the flood in 2005 didn't help it either.  I rarely if ever go up there anymore.  I fish the lower 3 miles before it dumps in the river.

Today we got around 30 in 3.5 hours, kept 10 all being over 10".   Water temps 63 degree's
