I think you guys match up well against the Pens, should be a great series.  You can borrow some of my daughters diapers if you run out.   LOL

Is it better to have a long rest between series, or have a shorter rest?

Indeed, a team can nurse some injuries, but what about momentum?  Does that dissapate after a long rest?  Conversely, does a long series put a team into automatic trouble in the next series becasue they were not able to nurse some sores?  If I were a flightless fowl, I would want to take on the next opponent NOW!

Status: offline 		Mario once said you need 1 easy series in order to win the cup,I think the Pens just had theirs. I look for the next round to be a war whoever that may be we'll see,as far as a letdown I don't see it happening this team is on a mission.

Well, technically, you can get a little complacent and lose your momentum.  I look at it like this though, if the Pens lose the next series, everyone will point to the long layoff as being bad for them.  If they come out and play great and win the next series, people will say that the long layoff was instrumental in the Pens winning the next series.  So basically it means absolutley nothing, it's another thing the media likes to blow out of proportion. 

So anyway, back the to the playoffs...  So the Pens have a chance to play Boston, the Caps, or the Rangers right now.  Strangely enough, I playing the Rangers doesn't look so bad anymore.  One, they also will have the aformentioned layoff, so that can't be an excuse for either team, which is nice.  If we're playing the Bruins, they just knocked off a team they were 0-8 against this season and were given zero chance to win.  That's not a team I really want to run into.

I'd love to play the Caps, that would be an excellent series with an up tempo skating game, but once again, they will have won 3 straight if they're in the second round, so that's not really a team you want to face right away.

It'll be nice to play someone this week and at least I know I'll be at the game!  Got those tickets for game one!

I don't mind the stillers, there is no crying in football even in piksburg.

Cant speak for others, but personally, I am indifferent to Pittsburgh sports teams.  I only fight against the Pittsburgh fans bashing the Flyers and Philadelphia.  
I cant stand Crosby though! lol

Status: offline 		same here. personally, i could care less if philly wins it all. still gonna bust on philly fans. my favorite sporting events, especially pens games, are against certain division rivals and certain other teams. imo caps, cryers, leaves, habs fans are a blast. i spend as much time busting on, and watching and laughing at the fans busting each others chops as i do watching the game.

i only bust on you philly fans because philly makes it so easy. rocky balboa statue, "Vengeance Now," still living in the "broad street bullies" era, etc... its ALMOST too easy.
