I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE TIGHTEST CHOKE I CAN GET FOR A MOSSBERG 835?

Tightest choke might not be what you are looking for.
A ported extended choke might give you a denser pattern.
Tight chokes do not work with steel or any metal other than lead.

Watch for bulges in the barrel if you use an extra-full.

An ulti full turkey is probably what you want for lead shot , it's about $30. They have a ported full turkey for about $20.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING A PRIMOS JELLYHEAD ARE THEY ANY GOOD?HOW FOR WILL THEY HOLD A GROUP AND WHAT IS THE BEST SHELL FOR THAT CHOKE?

S-10 I GOT A ULTI FULL IN THIS GOT NOW SHOOT IT TODAY WASN'T THAT IMPRESSED WITH IT AT 40 YARDS ONLY 4 BEBES IN THE HEAD.

There is NO way to tell what shell and choke will work in a specific model gun.
People can tell you what works for them.

I had an Undertaker choke that had a good patern in my 1187 but not in my 870.
Black boxes of Winchester are the shells I use-forget more details about them.

I had an undertaker choke for my 835, it has a great pattern.  I stuck it in my 935, and it sucks!  Tried a few different shells and wasn't impressed with the pattern.  Has anyone ever had a shotgun that the front sight is off?  I had to put a rear sights on the 935 for turkeys to shoot strait, and it is quite a bit off without it.  Any suggestions?

Is the sight canted/tilted?
Does the gun fit you properly?
A shotgun being off is sometimes because the stock is not a propper fit.

Some chokes have a sight.

Used to have an 835 but that thing beat me up shooting it. Bought three different kinds of shells to test pattern and only shot three shells. Man that thing hammered me.
We found the 3inch shells patterned better than the 3 1/2 inchers. (Got my buddy to run some rounds through.)
As they said the full ported tube seemed to hold a better pattern the the super full Turkey tubes.

Yeah, it is a fiberoptic sight and it is slightly turned sideways.  I was thinking of taking it to a gunsmith and have it taken off and a new one drilled.  I have looked at a few in gander mountain but there is quite a variety.  Some sit higher off the barrel then others, I would think the elevation would be off on a few of them since they are all different.  Any advice?   I should have exchanged it when I first got it.

Nothing touches a Rhino, hands down, with Nitro Hevi Shot (not Remington).

What you need to do is buy a choke tube(any make) and several different brands and shot sizes of shells.  Shoot all at 30 yards and settle for the load with the tightest pattern in general.

Now, add a sighting system and sight the pattern in like a rifle.

I've had my 835 for years it came with all the standard chockes, we were goose hunting 2 years ago and i was getting my butt kicked by my cousin, i asked him what type choke he was using, and he told me its a pattern master. Well needless to say i brought one and it was money well spent, there around $90.00, but you can use it for anything, goose turkey, and you can use either lead or steel shot. I got mine out of Cabela's. Also it came with a guarentee if i did'nt like it i could send it back, but i never needed to do that it has a very dense and close pattern...
