They already tried that in Hollywood...

It didn't work out.

We could try this...

Count me in for the tub of slaw and the frantic, un-manly shrieks at the sight of furry beavers.  Hey, wait a minute...

I agree with Elephanthead.  I work Saturdays also.
Sunday, May 4th is better for me.

Anybody else vote for Sunday, May 4th instead of Saturday, May 3rd?

Saturdays are better for me, but I don't count for much, because I've never been to one of these outings.  I will be at this one though, can't wait!  I'll bring some kind of dessert item.

Ok heres the deal I relized It was almost impossible for bughawk to make it if we had it on a Sunday so this is why I suggested a Saturday. I realy does not matter to me weather its Saturday or Sunday as long as it happens and is a success like ever other year. Its something most of us look forward to every year and is a great time by all. Its nice to fish chat and eat with people we may only get 1 chance a year to do such with.So to all that have not come before try to make it as its well worth your time and to all that have before we will be glad to have you show again.

Egg,

If most people can make Sunday, that is fine with me.  I will try to make it down in the afternoon.  I would hate to think a significant group of people could not come just because Saturday works better for me.  If Sunday is what works for the majority of the people, I would say go with Sunday and I will do my best to be there around 2:00 or 3:00.

I vote for Sunday, as most everyone can make that day.  As for Bughawk showing up in the afternoon, heck, the best fishing last year didn't happen 'til late afternoon anyways.  They really turned on then, and a few dumb ones even fell for the junk I was throwing.  We can even plan on eating a bit later if we know for sure when Buggy will be there.

For those new to his site, a bunch of us have gotten together, at Oil Creek State Park, the past five or six years in the springtime.  Specifically we usually meet at an area between Oil City and Titusville named Petroleum Center.  It is a couple of miles off route 8.  We usually meet at one of the picnic pavilions near the creek.  We fish for a few hours in the morning, meet up for lunch and then go back out for the afternoon hatch.  Everybody usually pitches in and brings something to eat or drink.  It's a great event to meet many of the members that write here and put a face to a screen nickname.

Thanks for the info beerman, i will be there for sure.
So, not trying to be pushy, but whoever is authorized to make the decision on this, can we come up with a day and time, and stick to it?  I ask because the longer ahead of time it's planned, the more people who can schedule it in and try to make it.  Thanks!
