I actually caught a sucker on a 4" streamer today, it hit so hard I thought it was a brown for sure.

Soft Hackles were the ticket today. There was an unbelieveable grannom hatch, tiny black stones and midges. I put bug spray on it was so thick. Only fish I saw rise was a rubber lips. Guys didnt do very well but everyone I saw who was doing ok strung them all up. So much for the survey saying 56% or whatever practice C&R. Some of the trout I saw people keep would have been about one bite at best. I just dont understand why people complain about the price of a license and then deplete the resource as fast as possible.

I agree on that. How many do you suppose went into the garbage?
I was snagging alot of caddis casings. Should be a blast when they hatch.

I catch quite a few Bufflo Trout (aka suckers)  they are fun to catch and alright to eat if you know how to prepare them. Back on topic caught my limit in half-hour all around 12" with one 15"
