GO BRONCOS !!!

Dang.  I thought you'd be all over this board in the first two weeks.

Your offense is looking like the Pats of the past few years.  Your defense on the other hand.  Well, there is a reason why the Browns get rid of bad players from a bad defense...

I think the Stillers aren't looking good at all this week.  Their o line is toast, and relying on Moore and the Dumptruck (who has been sitting on a couch for a few months), doesn't look good.  The Jags aren't on the top of their game either.  I'd imagine, that it is going to be another exciting game like their past 3 have been...  I doubt either team will be out of the game until the final minutes.  Luckily the Stiller's defense is playing solid, or I'd say the Jags would walk away with this game.

Without Hampton - Jags 13 - Stillers 10

With Hampton - Stillers 10 - Jags 9

Steelers lose 27-13 Sunday night. They barely beat the Ravens at home and you can't count Cleveland, they always win there.

Predictions sure to be wrong:

Bye Bye big Ben.  This could be your last game, I almost feel sorry or ya.  Jacksonville's pass rush will get ya.  I look for the Jaguars to make it three in a row, 17-10.

The Bills will suffer their first loss to Arizona and their talented receivers 24-13.

EDIT: Read on ESPN.com that Cards WR Boltin is declared out for the Bill's game.  Go Bills.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!! however, the tops could use some work. to combine this and the "Movie Quotes" thread, here goes:

"I dont like the way they cover their jugs all up with the feathers, you know, Reg?"

"They are so beautiful..."

"They oughta cut the the costumes up higher on the thigh so you can see more"

"You make me sick when you speak, Morris."

Super, super win. Beating that team in that manner removes a huge monkey off of their backs. Anybody who doubts big Ben and his ability to play the position knows nothing about playing quarterback.
I'll take him over Brady or Manning anyday.

And Ed Hochuli & Co. make yet another horrible, and blatantly incorrect call.  I understand it wasnt his call to make, but its funny how the name keeps popping up around obviously wrong calls...

Let's see....the defending champs, the New York Giants play the most underachieving team in the league, the Cleveland Browns Monday night.  On paper it appears that the Giants will totally dominate the Browns much like they did a few weeks ago in the preseason, Monday night game.

I'm not sure which Cleveland team will show up Monday.  Admittedly the team has had two weeks to prepare, and a few players are returning after missing games with injuries.  These include offensive lineman Ryan Tucker, rookie TE Martin Rucker, rookie LB Beau Bell and WR Donte Stallworth....or will we see the brown pants-wearing Cleveland team from the preseason Monday night game?....or will we finally see more of QB Brady Quinn.  With the Steelers on a bye week, I guess everybody will be watching the game Monday, lol!

while i'll never have the talent to be an NFL scout, coach, player, waterboy, etc... i dont see the browns being any good to begin with. they rallied behind anderson last year and played some decent football. the magic wore off and theyre back to normal browns ball. PAPER champs rarely ever get the job done.

a bit off topic but in a million years i would have NEVER picked the G-Men to win last years super bowl at the beginning of the season. in the end it was great that they did. not only did they beat the patriots but they did it without Barber and Shockey. just 2 names that come to mind that in the end seemed to be a cancer to the team. 2 guys that SEEM to feel theyre better than everybody else. Barber retires, Shockey gets hurt, Boss steps in, running backs that wouldnt have touched the ball if Barber was still there step up and they win. i see Win Slow and possibly Edwards just to name a few as the same. APPARENTLY Burress is the same way. heard he's been fined 40-50 times for team violations. good to see they sat his arse and theyre still cruising along. dont know what the answer is in Cleveland but imo the crew they have isnt going to get it done.

on a positive note for browns fans, COWHER POWER is ALLOWED(contract agreement) to coach in 2010. whether COWHER POWER wants the job or not, Ohio(voted worst NFL football state by some poll-dont remember which)football fans will most likely get 2 new head coaches in the next few years.

probably wrong, home game or not, injured or healthy, i cant see the browns even getting close to pulling out a win against the G-Men.

I've said it since that Monday night debacle against the Giants. There is just something fundamentally wrong with that Browns team. Can't quite put my finger on it whether it be players, coaching, mangement or all of the above. There is just something not right about them. Maybe it's a curse.

Chuck Norris once took a 500 ft tall dump in the early settling days just outside a small village in northern Ohio. People asked him out of fear 'What is that?' and he said "Cleveland steamer" and the phrase was born. They named the town after that phrase and were so scared he would come back that they named the football team the Browns. Over the years the rain spread it out over the whole city.

The stench still eminates from that area to this day.

by the end of this evening everybody in the AFC North SHOULD have another loss except for the stillers. after the lowly bungles(trap game???) their schedule gets a bit rocky. however, they may win the division by attrition. is Quinn starting? if so, i hope they gave his backup a lot of snaps this week. if the G-Men's defense stays rowdy there may not be enough qb's on the lowly browns roster.

anybody catch the almost interview with T.O.?? shades, yellow sweater, bow tie, etc... he just asks to get busted on after a loss. he turns that smile upside down awful quickly. Romo out at least 3 games, possibly 4, possibly more. could be wrong but dont see Johnson throwing any long balls to anybody. should be a recipe for disaster and especially T.O. if the cryboys put a couple more in the "L" column. Jerry Jones may be having a private conversation in the jet with Jason Garrett right now.

G-Men-28
lowly browns-7

Braylon "wahh wahh" 5-hour energy Edwards drops 4+.

Yeah, but you know what? Only the Browns could look so disorganized in beating a team by 20+ points. Regardless, Beerman, it's your teams night.

Dave, I was feeling pretty good on Monday night.  It's about time the Browns
played the way they're capable of.  I never would haves predicted a dominating
Browns victory.  It's not about how a team starts a season, but how they end a season.

I see the Browns MAYBE covering the +7.5 this week against the Redskins, but I ain't betting the farm on it. Steelers win by more than -9.5 and take the over 35.

I agree with gobyking about his picks. The way the Browns played Monday night, I not only see them covering, but I see how they could defeat the Redskins straight-up. They got their swagger back. Maybe the Browns are similar to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Underachieving early in the season, but now they're finally playing up to their potential. As Ike Taylor would say...."swagging"!

Steelers 23
Bungles 6

Browns 21
Skins 17
