You get some nice fish.  As for your question about Misery Bay at PI it is on Penn. Dr. and they kick u off right after dark.  I've been up there and its been slow, way slow.   A few friends did manage some nice fish in there when there was the first ice, but we have had no luck since.  I've been staying in French Creek hitting walleyes.  No perch and no crappies in PI sends me to the creek in search of walleyes....so thats what I've been doing.  I do know that there have been people getting slabs at Pymo but not in the numbers you are catching them in Shenango.  I only find numbers of crappies in Pymo when the ice goes off, have yet to figure them out in numbers on the ice.

Was at Misery a couple weeks ago with the ice club. We did pretty good that day. 4 of us and we got over 40 crappies that day. Bunch of gills too. Went back by myself on the following wednesday and got some more crappies and a couple bass and a 23" steelie full of eggs. Guy told me too use the eggs to chum my hole. The fishing picked up greatly after i did. Here's the steelie.

I rode by shenango yesterday and the shorelines were open everywhere i looked. Nobody was back at GR. The lake had risen about a foot after the rain so i may be done there but i may make a couple more trips up to PI and try the second lot area for some gills and smelts.

Took a walk down to the dam today which was blown out, a couple guys were actually fishing it from bank, though.

They scaled the sluece gates down to 1.5 feet each, which is probably why the lake has risen to four feet above summer pool.
