Thought I'd bring this link to the DEC over from the other board concerning changes for the 2008 season.
They are accepting comments/suggestions untill April 1st.

Hey Salmo,
Any way of bringing the posts from the old board on this subjet to the new board. Maybe the boss can do it..

I shot the boss an email about it. I know it is possible to insert a link to the thread, but I had to ask the if that will cause a problem. As far as bringing it over, and placing everything as is somehow- I don't know if it's possible.
Will get back to you when I get some news.

Can't bring threads over.
The other board is to remain up untill they get the bugs worked out here.
He will give notice of a few days before shutting the old one down for posting.

The concern of the transmission of VHS through livebait from infected impoundments raises a concern. I personally would prefer the adoption of lures only however, local baitshops should have rights to net/trap for sale livebait within the same regional impoundments we are all trying to protect. This proposal will benefit the states business fisheries and sports fishing enthusists alike.Also, small dip netting for ones own couple dozen bait for use in the same fishing waters would be a good idea.
