May be alittle late on this one but I'd definately try Slippery rock creek, take a look at McConnells Mill State Park in Portersville. Just one visit & you'll die of the scenic views of the sun shining on half the mountain. Its awesome. Frankly the fishing can be alittle on the low end. I saw you mainly wanted trout, well there are stockings there but nothing to get excited about. If you fly fish I'd take a look at Armstrong Bridge a strict Flies only section of the creek that has some pretty obvious and fish full holes. Don't stay right there by the bridge head down the stream, thats mainly where the holes are. Walk upstream 1 mile you'll come across a Bridge called Harris Bridge. Its nice, stocked with trout & anyone can fish there, not just fly fisherman. Very nice, but in these hot months it can be a pain, most of the trout die off or are caught. Excellent bass & sucker waters as well. Rain WILL blow out the creek so watch out. Good Luck
