My nephew has one that I am going to try before I buy.
Not that the 4 year old is spoiled but he has most systems
I will be in Raleigh in a few weeks helping my sister move and try Wii then

The wii is lots of fun. Tiger woods golf is killer, boxing is fun but exausting, bowling is good drinking fun, Tennis is amoungst the best. Rayman is fun as well. mlb is great. It all lasted about  3 weeks, now we only play when we have people over.

we have wii and ps3. prefer the wii when playing with my boys. the six year old gets a kick out of whupping me at mariokart on occasion. Pokemon is another favorite for them.

Soul Calibur 4 is awesome for ps3.

Wii has this Links cross bow game thats fun, havnt really going any fishing or hunting for it just yet. Im more for the party type games we have this one it has ski ball, hoops, darts, beer pong, and trivia its always a blast when theres a case or 2 of beer.

I have over 100 NES games since 2000 I would be so many on ebay most i paid for 2 was like 19.99 it was mega man 7 and dragons quest III. When we first moved into our own place my girl and i would play monolopy since we didnt have a cable hook up right away. until I taught her how to tie flies. but Ive been recently trying to get me sega goin again with Shining Forces II  but yea nhlpa no logos just citys then nhl 94 came out and it was sweet. Ray Borque andy moog and some kings player. 95 pissed me off with the cover with kovale scoring on kirk mclean of the stanley cup finals where rangers and vancouver played Pavel bure played then and the rangers broke my heart lol.

I didn't see anyone mention the new Brothers in Arms Hells Highway, i really like the Brothers in Arms series and story base, very detailed with the 101st Airborne thru the Normandy campaign (units, officers, towns/cities, weapons an vehicles) can't wait to see how detailed they have the Market Garden campaign set up.

Heh, that post actually is the one that dragged this thread back to the top!  I started playing BiA the night it came out, I love those games.  Been waiting for this one since 2006.  Hasn't let me down yet.

The online play is pretty horrible.  There is supposed to be a squad leader and a team.  The team is supposed to follow the orders of the squad leader.  It basically turns into a bunch of people running around doing their own thing.  Kinda stupid.

oh my thats a disappointment...

I GUESS logically it is a good idea but no one is going to follow 1 person like that like being in the military

esp cause it is mostly younger ppl that would be playing this and we all know how they deal w authority!

maybe i wont get it now...

The single player is worth it.  Normally I would of just got it via Gamefly, but I bought this one.  I love the series and I like the strategy of moving your squad and whatnot.  It's worth checking out.

I love it, it's like Netflix, but with games.  I pay $25 a month and I can rent out two games for as long as I want.  New releases come out the same day they're released in the store.  Normally takes a day or two to get to me.  Might seem like a lot since that's technically $300 a year, but honestly that's what 5 games?  I've rented more than 20 this year alone.  If you want, I think if I refer someone, you get a month or two free.  Let me look into it.

Eh, Saint's Row 2 doesn't appear on my horizon, the first one was nothing exciting.   Just a GTA rip off. That game kinda sucks too, so take that for what it's worth.

From what I've heard about NHL 2K9 and NHL 09 is that the EA game is way better.  Used to be the other way around, but after whoever it was bought 2K sports, they've all gone down hill.  I used to buy all the 2K Sports, the original football was dominating Madden, but that's also why JM got the exclusive NFL rights.

Anyone else picking up the new Call Of Duty: World at War?  I should have it today through Gamefly.  Played the beta and it was pretty kick ass.  I liked it a lot.  Very similar to CoD4.
