well guys, i'm heading up til sunday.  i'm going to be pouring footings for the cabins we are building, but i plan on getting 2 hrs a day on the river.  hopefully that's all i'll need.   i'll be fishing DSR primarily and maybe a little back on my property below the trestle pool.  i'm sure winter fish are already starting to stage up back there.  i'll let you guys know how i make out.

Did you just purchased the property or have it for awhile? Been thinking about getting a slice up there myself. I have alot of friends and family that fish there and getting a small piece that we could pull our campers in on and stay awhile sound real good. Maybe even put in a small cabin kit. We don't live too far away, (2.5 hrs.), Just sometimes want to stay a little longer than a day.

i'm going on 7 seven years owning the piece.  time flies i'll tell ya.  only took a fifteen year loan out so we're just about at the half way point.  i recommend it though if you're thinking about it.  the area is on the up and up.  land is still cheap.  permits and approvals are cheap and easy.  it's a no brainer to me.  Are you thinking of river frontage or jujst regular prop?  there are a few river fronts out there.  although, they have gotten pretty expensive.  but they really aren't selling.  it's worth it to see what's available on the river and then just make your best offer.  good luck
