Does anyone know if any of the styles of hooks for nymphs and scuds and eggs have a larger eye than others in sizes 14 and 16? I like to use the fas snaps and quick klips to attach my flies because of old age eyes and they work fine with the size 12 mustads I've been using but will not work on the mustad style 3399a in size 14's. Thanks.

orvis sells big eye hooks in #14's and smaller. i use them for special occasions, esp. caddis flies and small nymphs. i use the fas-snaps also!

Mustad 9174 is a pretty beefy hook with a big eye that I use for some eggs and such.  They call it a "live bait" hook. Not sure what sizes are available though . . . .
