The date has change to saturday the 5th of december

Allright heres what I have so far:

The outing will be at whitemans bridge in lake city. Located on elk park road.
We will meet at 8am
This will be more of a fishing outing I'm not planning on having food there as I feel it will be to cold for all that then. Also if any of you have extra setups and wouldnt mind lending them out to those that arent fortunate enough to own one of these rigs yet, it would be very much appreciatted. As of right now myself and mxdad66 have extra rigs that are already going to be used by members that are going to attend. So if you'd like to give centerpinning a try and dont have a rig hopefully some other guys that have extra rigs wont mind helping out. We'll try accomadate all who are willing to take the time to learn.

If you plan to attend post on here or pm me and I'll start a list so we all know who's going to be there.

As of right now:

MrTwister, Papinner, Mxdad66, Mr.slickfish, tommybanzai, harrypellas, kingnuke32, shutupnfish, avidangler, bigslick, mossy oak, The tuna, beatles4life2, freshwaterdrumR, Blackie, BigSal, anadromous, davef

I am pretty sure I will be able to come. I might just have a few of us from around here come up.
I will be making my decision the week before. The only reason I say that is beacuse work is REALLY
busy for me to the end of the year. I am also planning on making a move to Minnesota after the
holidays, so I need to watch the $ aspect. But I would have to say that i am a 95%.
I would even bring my carry along weber grill we could cook whatever on (steak, burgers, sausage,
hot dogs, etc) All in all, I think it would be a good time. I plan on sharing this with a few other
pinheads I know that aren't on these forums.

Since it wouldn't be big number coming, anyone want a shirt if i get one made? I have an Idea   PM me

I dont understand what you are talking about. I just thought if you give or maybe raffle something off, it would draw more intrest. You dont have to do eggs. If I said bobbers, would that also be trashing? That is what you use. Correct?

Can this thread not be hijacked? I am really interested in any kind of fishing get-together type activities here. Also, I believe papinner and anyone else who is helping deserve the respect for donating their time and knowledge for everyone's fun and learning. I'm being sincere here; not looking for a fight or meaning any disrespect to anyone else. Thank you!

Papinner and friends: I am looking forward to this. I can't promise I'll leave my flyrod home and pin all day long, but I'd like to give it a shot! Also, I really appreciate all the gear-lending offers that have been announced! +1 guys!

Ok everyone its been brought to my attention that we should have the outing on saturday so those of you from out of town wont have to leave early to get home. Also shutupnfish has offered us to use his camp so we could have food after we all fished. Let me know what you guys think about saturday instead of sunday I'm willing to change. Also noodleone is going to send me a couple of his pin loops to help the newbies with casting so they arent frustrated before they even get to figure out the drift.

Ok we're changing the day to saturday instead of sunday. And after we're done fishing, with shutupnfish's permission we'll go to his camp and have food and drinks but we need volunteers to bring stuff. We'll also need some fire wood.

Been thinking about making this my next conquest.  Would it be ok for a "fly" guy to tag along and maybe get to borrow one for a few drifts?

Papinner,
I've watched most all of the online videos and understand the basics of centerpinning, how to rig a leader, but what I am in dire need of is some casting instruction.  Much like a novice golfer can't learn to hit a golf ball from a book or a video.   I need to try various casts and have somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong.   Will I be getting that kind of instruction at this outing?  If so, sign me up.    I own a 13' Wild River and a JW Youngs CP Reel.    Would be happy to add 5+ yards to some of my casts.
