ORIGINAL: Loomis Indeed I do....I also agree with what you just stated, and will stand by Simms making a good quality product by my standards. I'll also agree with Loomis. I bought my first pair of breathables in '98...Hodgeman Wadelites. They lasted for a solid 5 years and in those 5 years, that included a 3-month season in Alaska where we lived in our waders 16 hours a day. After a run-in with a beaver-chewed stick on the Catt a year later, their time was up. My next pair were the Simms G3's, which I still currently own. They have now lasted 5 years, including 2 seasons in Alaska(miles and miles of hiking through alder and buckbrush on flyouts, crawling on docks, boat maintenance, guests flailing lures and flies, etc., etc.) and guiding the tribs. They also lasted throughout all of the trout/stream seasons in between. They are still leakless to this day. Formerly being on their guide program/Pro-Staff, I got them much cheaper than most would pay. The downside was there was NO WARRANTY and I still bought them...gambling if you will, strictly on heresay reputation. Would I buy them again? Absofreakinlutely!!! Do they make a great product? You're **** right. I have purchased many products from them over the years and I was never dissapointed and NEVER had a problem with their Customer Service. But then again, the Hodgman's were fantastic waders as well... Ironhed
