ORIGINAL: Jgut07 I dont see the problem with asking how far they are up. A respectful answer would be, "well I stopped at so and so, threw out a line and didnt see any fish blah blah blah"...whatever. Not "why dont you do some research, look around...check the weather...do you not see the streams are low...blah blah blah." Some people are just too testy. If you are tired of people asking the question, dont respond. You dont have to have an power trip. Like somebody said before, its easy to be hard behind a computer screen. OH, and ALOT of people dont have the time to sit infront of the screen and search and search and search some more through all of the BS that gets put into one thread, just like some comments already on this one. Whats the point. Take your inside jokes somewhere else. And really, I'm not trying to be rude. Some people do not have the time though. Going up to the Tribs are a very exciting thing, especially for somebody that may only be able to make the trip once or twice a year. You've got to be kidding me... so now not only are you to lazy to find the fish on your own... you're now to lazy to even get online and search for the information. With all the stream map(that include all public access points) water guages, web cams, reports pages, bait shops you can call... you still can't make a decision on your own then just stay home and save the gas money. BTW I live 300+ miles from Erie and I can hit every trib in a day if I want to...why can't you. Hahaha, this is the exact reason why I dont post. It becomes personal and I have to take time out of my day to defend myself. First of all, you have no clue who I am or what I do in a day. So to call me lazy is completely uncalled for. The reason I dont contribute is because I dont have any information worthy enough to contribute. How can I contribute when I am still learning about steelhead fishing and can only make the trip up a few times a year. I guess I could give false information if you want. Seriously though, dont call me lazy. I personally think that is one of the worst things you can call somebody. I never said I wanted to know EXACTLY where the fish are or that somebody should tell somebody else EXACTLY where the fish are. I walk a long way to get away from the crowd. This started out a thread about people hijacking threads and turning them into a joke. Now its you are lazy and cant walk, you need to know exactly where they are and whatever. Oh well, it just proves a point I guess quote:

Surely you have something positive to contribute even if you are still new the steelheading. Everyone brings something different to the table. And I can think of a hell of a lot worse things to call someone than lazy. Also hardly anyone here is "hiding behind a computer screen" alot of us have met and have and do fish together. If you'd calm down make a conscious effort to mabye get to know some of these people you'd be fortunate enough to be ''IN" on the inside jokes. And also know some of these people behind the screen names are some of the nicest and most giving people you will ever meet.
