First, many thanks to everyone who came out and fished with us yesterday. It ended up being a nice day, sunny, a little cool, but overall not too bad considering the weather we had for the last week. The river was obviously rising and gaining color and water temp was around 46 degrees. That was almost a full 10 degrees colder than 1 week ago. We ended up having 21 teams fish. Hopefully next year we can increase that, but we're happy with the turnout. Thanks to Wiegel Brothers Marine, PA Bass Federation District 6 (www.pabass.com), Doug Fezell of Fezell's Shop-N-Save (great donuts! yes, cops and donuts ) for the support and sponsorship. Another thanks to the City of Oil City for allowing us to use the "old beach" area for this event. I've fished many events on this river and that place worked far better than any I have used. Here's the results, 5 fish limit, 15" minimum Team #fish weight lunker 1. Eric Marsh/Justin Drukenbrod 5 16.31 4.00 $735 and $210 2. Ron Pate/Gary Holmes 5 15.57 3.62 $ 441 3.
