Went up to the ADK's this weekend to help Just Matt get ready for the opening of rifle season next weekend. Great spots, lots of water.
The muzzleloaders are already out in force!
No deer shot that we could see, but we did see a few does roadside as we cruised into the backcountry. Also a few grouse too!
Anyway, we woke up this morning to find the slack water frozen right up.
Even the cooler. It was brisk!
I got out to do a little ice fishing too, just to kick off the season:
