fishing chest creek today around 4pm.  should be a great day.  time on the water is special in the fall around here, great scenery even if fishing is sub-par.  will post pics of the trip.

let me know how you do. where you fishin on chest at. u at the DHALO? i need to make a trip up there before long, water should be nice and i heard they are stocking it this weekend.

Been Stocked since the 2nd. No crowds but lots of leaves. Been catching some nice Rainbows plus some holdovers. Should be good after the precip this weekend. I am fishing the DHALO.

I like that area in March...Do you think that many of those bows head down stream???

Actually I think more of them head upsteam as we catch a lot of them in winter in the Patton area. A couple of bait fisherman caught and released 20 some fish last winter, while fishing a deep hole one afternoon. All where rainbows. I fish both areas,flyfishing only, and always manage a few fish all winter.

fished it sunday afternoon and didn't have much luck save for a small bow that took a foam black ant near the aframe.  water was chocolate brown with lots debris.  nice day out nonetheless.
