Never again... well, maybe - have to see how they cook up.

Slickfish carried my fly rod, which was a small thing to carry but INCREDIBLE help - so I could have my other hand free to clutch at my chest.

Josh and I had to do the same thing...not fun at all. We tried to shorten the trip by taking the cross-country route. Those fish looked like they were wearing ghillie suits by the time we made it to the car!

Status: offline 		It's much easier if you let them trail floating in the slower water on the way back when you have a chance.

I managed to keep mine off of the ground all the way back uphill on the trail though.

Oh, and wrap the rope around a stick - easier to carry. Slickfish told me about that one.

Nope...no weight. I rarely weigh or measure any fish. It is however 2nd best in my personal recordbook. Also the first one on something I tied.

Just Kiddin! Truth be told...and no disrespect to anyone who does...I don't weigh or measure my fish, cause I genuinely don't care about those kinds of things. While I do like big and heavy, I don't need the numbers. I'm satisfied to know I whacked an absolute pig, that's good enough for me. The important things I remember about the fish I catch aren't defined by numbers. I remember what I caught it on, how I presented it. I remember the headshake....the jumps...line rippin' out, burnin my hand. I remember it was heavy, and mad. I remember I chased that big sucker down the creek before it spooled me. If a 2lb fish can put up that fight, and be that violent...I respect that more than a 12 lb log. I judge fish by the quality of thier charachter, and the violence of the fight.

I'm always asked the same thing when I tell or show pics of musky's I've caught. I measure, maybe, 1 in 12 that I catch, and that is only when someone is with me and thier wanting to know. Like you said, I may not be able to tell you how long or how much each musky I caught weighed this year was, but I can tell you how the fight was, what it was caught on, time of day, and the simple enjoyment of the release so someone else can feel the same pleasures.

Adam AKA loomis with a solid hook-up.



The scene on lower Walnut.  Actualy had a good time there, haha.



Me beaching one east of Erie.







This last pictures is definitely a favorite from the weekend.  Me and loomis rigged this dude and his buddy up properly and put them on some steel...  Once they had the right stuff we had them hooking fish.  This was this guys first Steelhead EVER...  Needless to say he was STOKED.



He mentioned he was going to join the board soon aswell...

Great weekend.
