Fished the lower lake this afternoon(sat) windy as usual but the fish were very co-operative.The state stocked on Fri. & I think that this was the nicest load of trout size-wise that I have seen in Quite a while. There was a mixture of Bows & some Brookies. Weeds are still a prob. at the Lower lake. Bass,& nice gills were also hitting my jigs.  some people don't know that the limit is now 3 trout.   sam

carpin05, the township put trout & cats in on thur. for thier kids derby,& the state put trout in today. again nice bows & brooks for a change. Water is murky as usual but few weeds. I picked up a few yesterday & today dragging nymphs on top. also saw a young woman catch an approx.10-15# carp yesterday.  sam

yeah there were some decent sized fish put in twin, i got one 20" the day the stocked, went yesterday and seems like theyre gradually moving farther and farther from shore. someone told me these fish are from a WV hatchery, very nice, but all the bigger males fins are very worn, oh well, still taste good.

the fish that they put in twin recently are some of the nicest fish i've seen in a while.  all the trout that i've caught so far have been 12+ inches long.  the fish are hitting well at twin right now, it seems as though most of the brookies are getting ready to spawn so they don't seem as eager to hit as the rainbows do.
