Saturday evening... 16 doe, 3- 1.5yo bucks. A first for me... Had 2 doe feeding below me 10 yards. All of the sudden, they became nervous, ears forward, stomping and snorting while looking into the woods to my right. Tails go up, they turn around and take off into the woods, snorting the whole way. 1 minute later, a black 'yote pops into the field 30 yards away so I grab my bow. He starts quartering towards me. He gets to the path I took in and puts his nose down. Bye, bye. Takes off running. I sprayed the hell out of my boots before walking in, like I always do. Quite a few does crossed that very same path, several times while feeding, during the evening and they never flinched. Kinda left me scratchin' my head. Saw him/her? at dark again, 100 yards out. Hope he sticks around and gives me one chance, just one... 2-blade Rage.(doe from Sat. morn.) Ironhed
