ORIGINAL: ShutUpNFish Going back to the original comment by Finster. The fish are there dude...put your time in and you will catch them. In todays society, we seem almost conditioned to believe that everything should come to us so easy. I have fished Arthur since I was a kid and for various species. Done quite well, so I have no complaints especially having a nice body of water to fish for various species so close to home. Although I have not put much time in for walleye there, I know some guys that do and pick up some nice ones....Its not Erie though, don't expect limits consistantly or maybe not ever. Keep in mind also, walleyes aren't that easy unless you're fishing Erie or some back country lake up in Canada. You have to put your time in, bottom line. And if I really want to get some walleyes, I simply head another 45 minutes north to the big pond. If you know Arthur well, you'll know what to target and what you can catch there on a regular basis... Finally, I love that people consider it the "Dead Sea". Its been quite the producer for me over the years...for what? Thats something you'll just have to find out for yourself...read the boards more too, you'll find out real quick. Tight Lines. Oh by the way, Skip, thats alot for posting that article!?!?!? My sediments exactley. I love to here it called the dead sea also. I had 3 'eyes ,2 Stripes & 19 real nice crappies in the livewell the other night. When I got in to the launch all I heard was how bad this place is. I just smiled & agreed, then those told those guys I should of went to Wilhelm or Pymo. I'm smilen right now just thinkn about it.
