I've heard of a few people catching nice walleye, with decent numbers, (not tons of them), in Chartiers Creek. Can anyone confirm, or is this another bad adventure through the fish-tale grapevine?

you can catch both in there. haven't fished it in a while but anywhere you choose will probably find them. I seem to catch more sauger. Wouldn't eat anything out of there.

Is the stretch by southpointe worth fishing?

Last summer I caught a walleye under the bridge in Heidelberg just up stream from the car wash.  It was about 18".  I also would not eat anything from this creek.

There is a superfund site in cannonsburg, right on the bank of Chartiers! DO NOT EAT the glowing fish..thank you Mrs. Curie... But hell ya I'll try it as well Nowhere to fish in Washington, the Mon. is too far for after work, and Greene county is all dried up....
