You will need to get in touch with me to enter. I will have apps at Wiegels once they are printed, I currently have them in PDF form and can e-mail them.
Wiegels is simply sponsoring a portion of the event and is not involved in running the event.
Thanks for the interest and hope to see you there.

e-mail apps sent to all who asked so far, thanks guys.

One other note, the Allegheny is ususally jet boat water but Oil City is fine for a prop motor. Don't let only having a prop boat deter you, there's plenty of water to fish around the Oil City ramp.
This gives both jet and prop boaters a chance to fish this event.

Guys, I gave out nearly 75 apps so far. We are limited to 49 boats per our permit. Boat numbers are assigned in order apps are received. Once and if we hit 49 boats entry will close.

Get apps in to me asap!

I was on the river yesterday, it is up a little and has a little color, water temp was 57 degrees. The smallies are definately on their fall feeding binge!

A few quick notes for those attending:

Contestants vehilces/trailers will NOT be parked in the small paved lot at the launch. We will be using a grass field just South of the launch which is accessed by driving down a paved bike trail, it's entrance is just off the paved lot.

A canopy will be set up in that field for registration and weigh-in.

There is plenty of room at that location plus plenty of room for boats to beach there.
There will be workers wearing reflective vests directing vehicles to and assisting in the parking and launch areas.

What a time for early Oct snow, LOL.

I've looked at 4 different forecasts, 3 of them say that Sunday Oct 18th will be partly cloudy, the other says mostly cloudy, chance of precip in all of them was about 20%. Highs are forecasted to be 42-44 degrees. Sounds like steelhead weather

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that the bigguns will be biting good.

Early was over 10 years ago, that boat has sailed

Once this tournament is over I'll be ready to dust some feathers, 30+ bass tournaments this year and I'm burned out.

Least the bigguns are biting here, that keeps it interesting! Oh yeah, the walleye are biting too, boxed a few the last times out. Problem is that my wife and 3 year old keep eating them before me!

Great tournament, nice day, little chilly, but overall good day. Good parking, for trucks and boats, handled well

Many thanks and great to have you there. It did turn out to be a pretty nice day weather wise. I'm really happy with how the area worked for parking, beaching boats, etc...

We will be holding this event again next year so watch for announcements.
