The Allegheny has been good for a while. The water levels are perfect from there to Kinzua.

Caught a bunch of walleyes a few nights ago in the pool you mentioned. Was up north today and caught a bunch of smallmouth. Was on the Yough several days ago and caught some nice smallmouth.

Pick a river, pick a spot right now, you'll catch fish. They're biting good.

I'm curious though about how this weekend will be, with the predicted temperature drop. I think it will be either lockjaw or feeding frenzy in the rivers.

I have been wading that area this week, chucking minnows and getting hits almost every cast. Plenty of smallmouth and catfish hitting the same baits and with a lot of fighting energy. Good fun.

I haven't fished there in a while and drove over the river Wednesday morning and saw a few guys wading. I may have to give it go sometime soon.

I laughed when I saw this thread yesterday, was planning on going there last night.  I hadn't been there in years.  I went, threw flies, got skunked.  Didn't see anyone catch a fish.

I haven't fished it in years either. Heck if I didn't drive over the river the other day, I wouldn't have even thought about it.

Bummer you didn't catch anything.

I'll go back.  I was more wading around checkign it all out than fishing.  I know the spots I'd like to hit harder now, and will do so next time.  It was friggin' hot yesterday too.

Let me know the next time you plan on fishing it. Maybe I'll head down and fish with ya.
