Was out on the ohio monday between leetsdale and montgomery dam. Saw 2 pros out in sponsored up rigs saw the same setup as mike iconelli has tundra logo with the flying tiger at the bow. the other was a blue ranger with yamaha covering half the boat.

Was out tuesday on the Ohio. Ran into the Yamaha boat down by the Alcosan plant. Watched them for about 30 min--they caught Zilch--looked cool though!

the bass tourny last year was a laugher for fish catches.  I think I read a story that the biggest bass of the tournament was in the 2.5 pound range. haha....

They should put those jokers in canoes and send them down the upper allegheny, the kiski or the yough... THAT would fun fishing to watch.

i talked to mike at the freeport launch on tuesday afternoon.  he said it was slow and was not very talkative.  His boat trailer had big chrome rims, sort of funny..lol

I read that the tourny organizers liked this area b/c of the public enthusiasm and the highly competitive fishing.  One person could catch a 5 pound lunker and win the Million dollars.  Its more like hunting than fishing out there.  It will definately challenge their skills and strategy if they wanna be successfull.

Who cares.

Those dudes are not going to catch anything of big numbers or pounds.

It is a tourney of will and skill.

Only the best will win, as it should be. Even though 99% of us don't care.

I think most of us care about the tourny being here. Shows us what the pros would do on our waters.

I think it is a great thing! its a showcase of our fisheries to the people who dont fish or even know what is in the rivers. It also shows people what kind of great fishing is right at their fingertips.

I would actually like to see them have an all around tournament that includes all river species. I think that would be a true display of how big and what you can catch in these rivers.
