I'm trying to find my way to the yough tailrace. I would like to get to where the water is discharging from the Yough Lake if that is correct. I heard its always prime time for trout fishing in that part of the yough. I fish a lot of the Smithton parts of the yough but I have never been around the tailrace. Is it a good bet to start by the dam then work your way down? Or do I really don't know what I'm talking about? If there is any way I could get an address to get me there, that would be a big help. I know this might be a hot spot guys don't like to give up, so I understand if nothing comes up! Anyone is welcome to PM me...I will be up there tomorrow morning...that is if I find my way! Thanks for any help!

11 miles up river from Ohiopyle...

it's public land, nobody should beat you up for asking about fishing there. i'd offer some advice but i've never done well there. g'luck.
