If anyone is planning to fish Twin lakes this week-end, I suggest you go to plan B. The Craft festival starts tomorrow & the place will be jammed. You will ride around like a Merry Go Round trying to find a place to park. Also I believe that there will be no nite fishing until it is over due to concerns of the vendors equipment being vandalized or stolen. I believe that most of the parking lots will be closed til 8am I think.  sam

I personally try to give twin lakes a week or so after the event. In my opinion only, I think it settles the fish down.

I was there today. It was crowded, but not nearly as bad as it will be over the weekend. You might be able to fish the upper lake, in some places, but expect to do so with musical accompanyment and a lot of people walking about. I'd wait until the following weekend.

I'm thinking about heading over on the 12th for carp even if it's half the day. Going to Gettysburg on the 11th to walk around the battlefield....
