Status: offline 		love those ny browns! maybe even an aggressive salmon. can't wait untill november. i don't get there as much as i would like. i guess i will have try to keep some steel on my trips. great pics. ( i don't think i could ever give the steel up!)

Status: offline 		That brownie is sweet. I haven't hooked one yet this year but the seasons still young.

The kings sure are fun and will def. put any Erie steelie to shame in terms of their explosive tackle busting. As far as I'm cncerned though, if I'm on the tribs of LO I'm looking for steelies/ browns. I'll keep a few salmon for eggs and give the fish away because other than for eggs and a fight they aren't worth their weight in horse manure

Status: offline 		Nice fish Eggie!  I got a chance to get up there in early September when they opened the water to 750.  Did a lot of hooking and not much landing.  How was the water when you went up?

Good luck on the 15#er they are hard to come by. I have caught several close to 15, the biggest 14# 6 oz. My buddy always said the benchmark was 15 but I go a nice fiberglass mount of one for a great price. It was only 3 inches short of the one I caught.

You mentioned Kokes, where do you get them ? The only place in Pa I know of that ever had them was Upper woods pond. I haven't heard anything about them in years out of there. I even called a bait shop in the area and they knew nothing about them. I think a male sockeye or Koke in full spawning colors is about the prettiest salmonoid out there. I hope one day to get one, maybe do a AK trip.
