Hello fellow fishermen/women! Can anyone tell me when steelhead begin to be in the bay? Which months are they usually found in the bay? Also, anyone been catching any perch lately from shore? Thanks for the responses in advance.

P.S. I went 2 for 5 this weekend at walnut. Low water and many people causing spooked fish.

2 for 5 on fish and sorry about my comments made toward boats. I did not mean to get ignorant but I guess I was mad due to losing 2 lures and not hearing any horns. I was not aware that it was not a law. Sorry for being annoying. Just had one of those days and I know keep my eyes open in case a boat is coming in or out.

It's all good man.. sometimes it's good to think before you post and make sure you know what rules and regs for where you are fishing.

to answer your question, steelhead are allready in the bay.

stop relying on other people. its OK to check things out for yourself. be a big boy and stop the spoonfeeding.

after the lure catches the boat, drop the hammer on the throttle and pull a caddyshack(Seafood)/great outdoors(Suck My Wake) until the only thing attached is the rod/reel.

Weeds are still high and green in bay.  Steelie fishing better after weeds die down.  Should be a few in ship channnel and around pocket shortly.  (lost one on Sat)

In my experience it's usually good in the bay after the first frost. Usually around the middle to end of October.

Takes alot of nerve to say what you said about your fellow fishermen, and come back asking for help??? I am with salty dog on this one, you really should be ashamed of yourself for even posting what you did. Never get a second chance to make a first impression.

I guess I will have to change my screen name to get respect again. Oh well, nothing but a few seconds to change my name and all will be good again. Gotch ya, b$tches!!! Don't need a second chance online just change names and its all good again. Thanks to all who looked past my boat complaining and understanding that boats should honk out of plain, good old courtesy!!!

Not sure if you remember I think it was last year about this time, there was a new person on here under the name Newbie1 (or something like that) who asked VERY similar questions to fishon.  Not just the nature of the questions, but the grammar, etc. were almost identical (don't ask me why I remember this stuff 'cause I don't know).

Anyway, after some behavior very similar to what we're seeing now from fishon, I remember this troll started sending out threatening PM's and threating people on the board and that they'd be back under a new screen name. 

My guess is, fishon is this guy.

Seems like everyone is made at me for talking about that a while ago. Just had a bad day. Asking for forgivness as I just began steelhead fishing and want to learn more. I did not know there was signs posted or it was a law. I now know and will obey. Sorry again for any remarks or rude comments.

Well, the Walnut boat comments were step 1 to making people angry, then you went and posted this garbage yesterday.  People on this board have no reason to trust you at this time.

I hope you saved my boat description I sent to you in the PM. I'll be extra alert for a guy who looks a little slow standing on the corner of the Wall O Nuts. Bring your license and ID, you will need it Corky. Remember, big pointy things go out and in from that place made of concrete you fish from. On the back is a M-O-T-O-R. This thing called a motor is probably worth more than your POS car or truck. If you damage it with your recklessness, it could cost a lot of money depending on the motor. Don't call me faggot in your PM, put it out there for all to see; you haven't ever met me and will more than likely not want to if you cast at my boat which you know what the description is. Faggot is a name given to men who like other men, such as Skunkboy who clearly admitted that in another thread about people using cell phones while fishing. You two should hook up and go fishing together since you have the same fishing etiquette. Sorry for the big word, look it up if you don't understand.

PS CORKY: If you don't remember it is 19 ft white aluminum with a black stripe and has a 150hp merc outboard on the back.
