Looking for a place to stay 10-16 to 10-19. Any suggestions would be great.

Try Stoney's campground! They should have some openings.

I was looking at Stoneys on my last trip over Sept 20-22. I see they have small campers for rent for only 40 bucks a night. Has anyone tried these and would reccomend them? I'm not picky by any means and if I can save 30 bucks a night I might just be able to justify an extra night or two each trip. As long as I can get a decent nights sleep and no rain on my head.

The schoolhouse inn in altmar.Phil is a great guy plus he runs a drift boat and is more than happy to tell his guests where to go. http://theschoolhouseinn.net/

The river street lodge is back open.

I stayed in one of the cabins they have. It wasn't bad. We were the first to stay in it since they finished building it an hour before we got there. Nothing was in it besides a mini fridge and 3 bunks, but you can't beat it if you are just looking for a place to sleep.
