I'll stir the pot:

We have a current man, who has driven our economy through the grd to all new lows. At this point I'd vote for me. It can't get much worse than what we have today.

At the next review of unemployment I'll venture to guess 6.3% and climbing. National debt to the moon, peoples cost of living beyond anything any one will ever see. Do you buy oil for heat or food? Middle class is the new lower class.

Guys, I've been giving this allot of thought and I don't think we can afford to have a black president. Think about it... the movies have showed us that every time a black man is the president of the United State, the planet is almost destroyed., Star Trek IV, Deep Impact, The Fifth Element the list goes on...even a black sheriff stirred up trouble in Blazing Saddles....can we afford that kind of change..I don't think so..

Your thoughts...

Just Remember that Bush doesn't make all the choices. One man doesn't not make all the rules... Yes he may not have helped but its not all him... Just remember that... HELL NO TO OBAMA!!!! I would rather see a steelhead as president.

Somehow I think your contradicting yourself. If "One man doesn't not make all the rules", then why are you saying  "HELL NO TO OBAMA" (or McCain for that matter) since in your opinion neither will have any effect on America.

why don't we just get rid of all parties and every man run for himself and what he stands for?..that way no one can vote straight ticket and we all get who we all think is the best candidate...besides, republicans aren't true republicans and democrats aren't true democrats....at least the last time i checked....

You see, that's what I speak of. Going against a particular party/person because of what one man/administration did or didn't do. Whatever happened to choosing the best INDIVIDUAL for the job?
Why does the best man/woman have to be based on what party they are affiliated with? The entire system is flawed and there is nobody to blame but the voters themselves.

8 years of this current adminstration, and I find it hard to believe that anyone would trust/vote for anyone with a (R) next to thier name.  I'm guessing that the previous 8 years of Clinton have the other side of the aisle saying the same thing though?  I for one, think our country was in MUCH better shape at the end of slobknobs tenure, than Dumboya's.

When you agree with 90% of what the last guy did (per voting record - likely due to party support), then you align yourself with that person (no matter what party).  Don't kid yourself either, the party has a lot of influence in what candidate is going to do.  Remember John McCain USED to be a maverick.  Not even close in the past 8 years.  VOTING RECORD says a lot about a candidate.  So does the Republican smear machine.  If they eliminated their tactics, they may find some new supporters that agree with much of their philosophies.  If John McCain of 2002 was in this race, I think it would be a tough decision.  Instead the best man for the position WILL win.  Whether it is due to party affiliation or people seeing who the best man is.  Face the facts, McCain is nothing more than a GOP puppet on his last string.  The new puppet in line behind him, doesn't know the difference between Pakistan and spray on tan.  Although their last puppet didn't know ANYTHING about foreign affairs, but won two elections due to his political affiliation and idiot voters that were afraid that John McCain may have a child of color.

I suppose that under the NEW rules, this whole topic would have been banned or deleted with the first racial humor. Some of the remarks by some of you are downright terrible, even if you're just joking. No way i'd want my grandson to read these opinions about anyone, BLACK or WHITE or BOTH. Why do you consider Obama black? I remember the old saying about a drop of white blood makes you white or something like that. Depends on how racist one is. I know a lot of blacks that dont accept race mixing. Racists come in all colors. Can Obama support the klan and the naacp? I dont know much about any of you, personally, but i'm not voting for any color. Can the economy get worse with either of these guys running. You betcha it can, and probably will. It's going to take a long time and a lot of groups working together to get things back on a positive level. These guys can say all they want about change but there will be no change without GROUPS of people co-operating to make it happen.
PS...the moderators let this thread go on for 4 pages but they'll delete a spot burners post right away. Selective moderation?

You guys have got to be kidding me.  This thread was started in "good humor"...a joke is a joke no matter whether it is racial, sexist, inappropriate, whatever. Tippy stated from the beginning that the thread was meant to be "not-serious".  If you don't like the humor, if it's not your thing, don't read the post, fine.  But, don't come on here and post that the jokes are "racist" or "terrible".

One of the greatest gifts that we have is humor and one of the most admirable attributes of people, in my opionion,  is the ability to laugh at oneself. Lighten up.

I'm not racist,   my joke played on a racial STEREOTYPE, that's all.  I'm 85% sure I'm voting for Obama.  And, I guess I called him black because he is????

P.S. ...if Obama can dunk, that's sweet! I'm not changing my stance on that one.

We didn't have 9-11, which "SLICK" could have prevented had he been on his toes. Missle strike on aspirin factory was not enough.

Ever hear the story about how Slick would not be disturbed because he was watching a golf tournament, by a General seeking permission for an air strike to take out bin Laden, and the strike had to be cancelled because the "window of opportunity" closed???

Wrong. A joke is NOT just a joke no matter what the topic except for people who try to live in their own little world, forgetting that other people have feelings too, and that sometimes what goes around comes back around.

Barack Obama is a leading supporter of Black genocide through abortion ( http://thepublicdiscourse.com/viewarticle.php?selectedarticle=2008.10.14_George_Robert_Obama%27s%20Abortion%20Extremism_.xml ) , his policies are clearly Socialist, he continues to try and recreate his past ( http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79391 ), and still can't even prove he was born in the US!

I don't admire Mr. McCain and I wish there was a better choice than him, but a vote for Obama shows that a person hasn't done his homework on what's best for America.

To be clear, tippy toe's original post wasn't offensive. It was actually pretty finny. It was the comments that follwed it which turned foul.
