I had a combo rod made for me and carry both reels. So If I get sick of one setup i can switch to the other setup really quick.

If you fly fish, you still need a noodle spin setup. There are some conditions you just can't fish with flyrod. I guess you could put an egg sack on a flyrod, but the spin setup works much better. I carry both
but use the noodle only when water is fast, and visibilty is low.

Don't think we'll be seeing that for a while.
