Anyone else get anything like this?   I dont think I have a profile even on this site.  Assuming its spam/fishing nonsense. Little weird it has fishusa.com in it.

this could be alot of things but none of it sounds good...

i would spam this message and watch for more...

its weird that she is sending you the email from lillianlovex1@katamail.com but to email her back you email here at lillianlovex1@yahoo.com

as an IT major it looks like phishing but she isn't trying to get any information off of you yet

i wouldn't worry about it too much but don't reply and delete anything weird that comes to you like you should be anyways.

they got your profile from this site (which if you look in the address it says forums.fishusa.com) so this site is hosted by fishusa even though you type fisherie to get here.

unless they have put backdoor, keylogging programs or trojans in your computer they would already know the information.  these also have to be downloaded by you to get on your computer in the first place.

you can pretty much get anything off the internet that you want (if you know what your doing)

the internet is a scary place so be careful in everything you do!!

Got it this morning too, Joe.  Who is your service provider?  I've got zoominternet through Armstrong.  I frequently get weird spam stuff like that, and thought it was an issue with my Armstrong.  Maybe not.

Comcast.  Still, what if my wife saw this email, she'd have a different opinion on me being on Fisherie all the time.  Guess I have talked about my rod a lot here though.....

I got it too. And as usual she couldn't spell my name right! I knew she didn't care that much. If she did she would have got it correct. On a more serious note, I don't even open them. I immediately hit the phishhing scam to delete.     Lou

The people that got the email probably have their screen name as the first part of their email address

They take your name here and a computer adds a bunch of endings then sends mass emails

screenname@yahoo.com   screenname@comcast.net     screenname@peoplepc.com       etc.
