B.G. King -> Virgina Beaches Compground (8/27/2008 12:01:12 PM) Hello All, Will be in Virginia's Beaches in Erie next week.  New to Erie have only been to Presque Isle once.  I was wondering for some advice on any decent fishing near there the campground.  It is aprox. 15 miles SW ferom Presque Isle.  Not looking for honey holes, but just a nice place to start and spend some time exploring and hoping to catch some nice fish.  Will be fishing from shore and as always presents a few challenges, hoping someone wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction. OOPS... on the boat report, I haven't fished from shore in many years but I did enjoy fishing the channel from the wall at presque isle. I would think right before dark until after midnight would be okay at the mouths of the creeks if the waves permit you to fish. Maybe Conneaut off the rocks if you can access it thats where I would try.
