I finally upgraded to a William Joeseph pack this spring. It was about time too, I couldn't figure out why my back was sore after every outting. My old vest had way too many pockets and everyone of them was packed to the brim. The chest pack really helped me cut down my gear I carry with me. I am down to 2 C&F boxes, a shot dispenser, 3 spools of tippet in appropriate sizes, and a few indicators in the front pouches. In the back I have a couple extra spools of tippet, extra shot dispenser, another fly box, a bottle of some type of liquid (usually water), and gloves and a hat if the weather dictates. I have nippers and forceps hanging in the front and a net on my back. This is honestly about half the weight as what I had been carrying around in my old vest for years. Hopefully it is not too late to restore my back.
