I went by the baitshop at 7AM today and it was open and crowded. I will get exact time he opens and post on here tomorrow. I need to stop tonight and get some worms.

Ax,

Ok, you sneaking out of work early tonight or Friday night? I am working out of the house so I can be there any time. In fact, I might go down this afternoon as I have caught eyes in the middle of the afternoon before...lol.
Let me know. It is going to warm, might have to shed the waders.

Hopefully I will not see that couple again doing there thingy on the bank...lmao!

Not a chance of me getting out of work early this week. We have a few people off and some dead weight in the department so I can't get out. All though I am fishing all day Sunday and I may have some time Sat AM. The wife, baby and mother in law are getting pics for the baby so I will be free. I will call you tomorrow night if I can fish Sat AM. But during the night is bad this week. I need to find a big pile of oil so I can retire quick.

Ya hopefully that couple will be MIA. You sure it wasn't Mossy and his lady friend. lol

What kind of fly do you catch a walleye on, how do you get it deep enough and how do you fish it? I've done a decent amount of fly fishing but still have alot to learn.

I don;t fly fish so I can't help. JMZ. I know 71GTO is using crawlers to catch the eyes now. He is a fly fisherman but not for walleyes that I know of.

Check the Fly Fishing Forum, I posted a request for a deadly walleye fly and there are several responses there. I am going to try with the fly rod this weekend for some eyes. Hope this helps.

Naw, you just got to find them FlyPa! That is what is so super about the Yough, with the bike trail being there, you can pedal your way to some nice spots no longer accessible by driving along the tracks. Just make sure you got a lock and chain for your bike.

And "NO" Ax, it could not have been Mossy Oak and his honey mixing it up down on the river bank, he has forgotten what the river and fish look like since it has been so long since he has been there.

71, ever fish Meadow run? tributary of the Yough I've heard. Thinking about heading up there sometime in the next month as an all day type of thing.
