I didn't see my favorite restaurant on any lists here. It's Hoss's, on rt 20. Good food, reasonable price, always clean and well run. Never left Hoss's hungry.

What about Quaker Steak and Lube? Cold Beer and Hot Wings. My Teenage son thinks it's about the coolest place on earth!

The lunch buffet is pretty good and you can get in and out fast.
The one bad thing is that their wing's skin is not crispy.

The one in Sharon-the original, is OK. The one in Erie- Overpriced, crap food. I wouldn't eat there if it was free. Your son needs to broaden his horizons.

Marty if you like the Iron Bridge, try Rachael's Roadhouse just down the road.  I visit both quite a bit and give a slight edge to Rachaels.

In erie, the food at Avonia Tavern is awesome, however the last two times I have been there there were 2 other tables with people in them and we waited 20 min just to order drinks, then had to go to the bar & order our own drinks the rest of the time and our waitress never brought us menus we had to find them on our own.  The food is awesome, the service could use a little work.  (and I am not really that picky about service)

How bout Mickey D's? Seriously, who comes to Erie during steelhead season for the fine dining? Meals for me usually consist of drive thrus and running like hell to get back to the stream! I can only make a few precious trips a year, and fish hard from dark to dark, crash a few hours in the truck, then right back on the stream. Breaks for calls of nature and meals are few and very brief. This year's new regs on nightfishing will afford me a few more hours of sleep, but other than that its all about the world class fishing!
