Hey tacklebuster...was just checking out the league again...nice move on the draft pre-rankings...;)  I'm totally ripping that tactic for my last league to draft.  Wish we'd have drafted earlier here...

I had one screw up in my rankings that cost me.  Some how gates ended up much higher on the list than he was supposed to be, I really wanted shockey.

I would be open to a trade for a WR.

I have decided to donate 1 custom tied (by me) bucktail for musky fishing to the winner.  Winner can pick the color of thier choice.  Of course you will have to beat me first.......I hate the browns, but I am gonna ride a few of them on the fantasy train........

OK, so we need a list of player names with their team name, I think.

acmaul13 - himself
Olive Wooly Buggers - kyler16
TACKLEBUSTER - himself
The Chromers - killdeer19
The Cold Ones - Cold
The Fish on Fighters - Steelys Manfish
The Steel Curtain - MuskyMastr
The Trolls - SuperTroll123

Also, killdeer, I'll send you a PM here soon.  If you dont hear from me by 6 tonight, don't expect to until late Saturday night, as I'll be at the Steeler game, at a friend's overnight, then up to Erie to camp and fish Friday to Saturday. Hopefully I can get you a counter offer before then though.

don't worry about it... go ahead and send me a counter. I'm not real happy with my team and actually see better players not drafted that I'd rather have, so instead of just dumping them, I'm trying to trade up. ;-)

Eh, it's not that I think my team is weak... it's more that I just personally don't like some of the guys on my team. Besides, I can always improve it somehow...

As far as trading goes, all of my guys are potentially tradeable, for the right price, of course.  I cant really imagine any offers tempting enough to make me wanna trade LT or Manning, though.

was thinking that whoever wins that bucktail should use it and if it lasts through to the next year, pass it on to the winner. If we keep this league going, it could become the league trophy. One of us might actually be lucky or skilled enough to catch a trophy as well with it. We could call it the brotherhood of the traveling bucktail.

Can't wait..........I like the traveling trophy idea.......Does anybody ice fish?   I thought it might be cool to be sitting on the bay ice fishing listening to the games on sirius radio during our playoffs....

Honestly...never tried it!  Though the idea of giving the old f-you to below-32-weather and fishing anyway seems satisfying on a basic level...a trip may be in order...can I use regular gear?

(Ah who am I kidding...as long as we've got some liquid heat, good guys, and a game on, I'll be happy!)

I regret to say that I have been of age for almost an age, during which time I learned to fill the fridge during the summer so that drinking becomes an indoor sport in the winter.....lol

Just looking through the lineups, the 8 team format makes for some really loaded teams, this should be interesting.............

Yeah, like I said, you need to adjust your tactics somewhat once a league drops to 8 players.  I'm in another private league and we only got 6 this year...its insane!  Gotta really follow all of your players.  For instance, I have the Jacksonville and Tennessee defenses.  Jax is ranked higher, but I'm considering swapping them out for Tenn.  Read that one of their teammates was shot recently...might sound harsh, but that will definitely affect their gameplay.
