has anyone tryed these? and if so what is your opion of them?

No, but they look interesting. Can you get them locally?
Fine wire hooks penetrate better than heavy wire but I'd worry about them straightening.
Daichii makes a heavier short hook thats supposed to be good for penetration called X-Point.
I've been meaning to try those.

yes at gander mountain. 2.99 for 10 . i know expencive. but i thought i would give them a try.

Kamasan is not a bad hook at all.
The B 110 is all you need...it's a heavy wire curved caddis

Looked good - bought 2 paks (gave 1 away) they straightened on steelies. I like the Kamasan up eye sedges best.
